Liberal entertainment executives just don’t seem to be getting the message.
At least half of your audience is conservative, and that half doesn’t appreciate you using your platform to push a liberal political agenda.
We sign up to service like Netflix to be entertained, not to have liberal ideology shoved down our throats.
So, it should come as absolutely no surprise to anyone but the clueless Netflix executives that people are canceling their subscriptions in droves after the airing of a particularly shameful skit on comedian Michelle Wolf’s Netflix series “The Break.”
Decider reports:
Talking about Justice Kennedy’s retirement, Wolf said that “although it’s great for his wrinkly head, it could be catastrophic for reproductive rights, because it’s almost certain Trump will try to replace him with someone who would overturn Roe v. Wade.” That would be a major setback for women in America because, Wolf explains, because the “pro-life” movement is propaganda created by men in order to control women from having a say in doing something that men can’t do: create life.
Then, “in honor of America,” Wolf donned a patriotic majorette uniform and, flanked by a star-spangled marching band, she celebrated abortion with the joking titled “The Break’s 10th Annual Salute to Abortion.”
The crass display left a large number of Netflix customers wondering why they should continue paying for a service that promotes the likes of Michelle Wolf.
Taking to Twitter, many folks let Netflix know that they’d be canceling their subscriptions immediately.
Wondering if @netflix can provide one GOOD reason to not cancel my 10+ year subscription after the "Salute to Abortion" video. Appalled and nauseous doesn't even begin to describe how I feel…

@netflix Your decision to televise that disgusting “Salute to Abortion” is beyond bad taste. It is inexcusable. I will be cancelling.

Seeing #Netflix flash across the screen as soon as Michelle Wolf’s disgusting “Salute to Abortion” song and dance was over, was my revelation that I’ll now be saving $13.99 a month.
Bye Bye Netflix!— Amy Klutinoty (@AmyKlutinoty) July 9, 2018
