WINNING! Dramatic Announcement About F-35 Fighter Jet After Trump Meeting

By

President-elect Donald Trump just can’t stop winning. Even before entering the White House he’s racked up more presidential wins than Obama did in eight years!

The latest addition to this win list is the head of Lockheed Martin agreeing to cut the cost of the new F-35 fighter jet following complaints by Trump.

CEO Marillyn Hewson was at Trump Tower on Friday to meet with the president-elect.

Trump had for months criticized how long it took to develop the F-35 and the bloated final price tag.

He went so far as to encourage competitor Boeing to price an upgraded version of the already well-tested F-18 Hornet as a replacement for the F-35.

“Based on the tremendous cost and cost overruns of the Lockheed Martin F-35, I have asked Boeing to price-out a comparable F-18 Super Hornet!” he wrote in a December 22 tweet.

That’s how a free market economy works. And Trump knows it better than anyone.

And the tactic worked like a charm.

In her meeting with Trump, Hewson agreed that “we need to get the best capability to our men and women in uniform and we have to get it at the lowest possible price.”

Following pressure from the president-elect, Lockheed Martin is now “close to a deal that will bring the cost down significantly from the previous lot of aircraft to the next lot of aircraft and moreover it’s going to bring a lot of jobs to the United States,” she continued.

That is how you get the job done, and get it done fast.
