Watch: Sharks Massing Off Israeli Coast; Scientists Confused, but the Bible Has the Answer

By

Scientists are confused by the massing of sharks off the Israeli coast.

But the Bible has the answer.

A multitude of sandbar and dusky sharks have gathered off the coast of the Israeli city of Hadera in a strange phenomenon that scientists are hard-pressed to explain.

There is a power plant in Hadera. And at first scientists said the sharks were simply being attracted to the warmer waters created by the plant’s activity.

But there’s one problem. The number of sharks is increasing each year, by a lot.

The biblical prophecy contained in Ezekiel 38:20 might provide a better explanation:

“The fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground.”

That passage appears in the larger prophecy concerning the war of Gog and Magog, which ushers in the Messianic Kingdom.

There is an ancient Jewish text known as the Tikunei Zohar that deals with this and other prophecies.

According to it, an increase in marine activity such as what is now being witnessed signifies a specific stage in the Messianic process that concludes with the coming of Messiah.
