Last week Friday, three men kicked in an Atlanta, Georgia suburb home around 4 a.m.
The first burglar was met by a female homeowner who reached for her firearm.
The woman fatally shot the initial intruder, 28-year-old Antonio Leaks, in the torso. The other two suspects returned fire before fleeing the scene.
“She exercised her right to defend her livelihood and property,” [Police] said.
Police are relying on the surveillance video to identify and apprehend the two men who remain at large. Both men are described as African American, between 20 and 30 and around six feet tall.
