Trump Said He Wouldn’t Do This, and Now He’s Going Back on His Word

Conservatives across America were cheering when President Trump bucked the international trend and announced he was pulling us out of the Paris climate agreement.

As Trump rightly noted at the time, the agreement obligated the US to pay a huge sum of money for very negligible results.

It was simply a bad investment, no matter your stance on climate issues.

Trump explained that there was no way to enforce the environmental obligations of countries like China and India, which will continue to pollute with impunity.

Meanwhile, American jobs will be lost as we try to abide by the agreement by shutting down factories, etc.

But, in an interview with British newsman Piers Morgan on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Trump revealed that he might again sign American up to the Paris climate agreement in the future.

“Would I go back in? Yeah, I’d go back in. I would love to,” said Trump. “But it’s got to be a good deal for the US.”

What do you think? Should America ever sign this agreement again, regardless of what other nations promise?
