Trump Refuses To Back Down on Muslim Ban, He Says…

By

President-elect Donald Trump made a lot of serious promises during the election campaign. And one that most voters expect him to keep is a ban on unrestricted immigration of Muslims from the Middle East.

Trump has come under a lot of pressure in the weeks before his inauguration. But he has refused to back down on his key promises, including the Muslim migration ban.

Trump said it was just “common sense” to take another, more critical look at opening America’s gates to Syrian and other Middle East refugees.

Pointing to Europe, Trump noted the destructive effects of unrestricted Muslim migration into a Christian nation.

Speaking of Muslim migrants, Trump stated: “They’re destroying Europe, I’m not going to let that happen to the United States.”

Trump said he didn’t care if that hardline stance hurts him politically. “I’m doing the right thing. I’ve been guided by common sense, by what’s right.”

The president-elect concluded by telling supporters, “We have to be careful. We’re allowing thousands of people to come into our country. Thousands and thousands of people being placed all over the country that, frankly, nobody knows who they are. We don’t know what we’re doing.”

It is refreshing to finally have a president-elect that is not going back on such important promises following his electoral victory.
