Trump: I’m Sitting Here All Alone. Where is Everybody?

I bet it was their plan all along.

Democrats got control of the House and promptly put up barriers leading to the inevitable, a government shutdown leaving President Trump sitting all alone in Washington.

But, just as they’ve been doing for years now, the Democrats have underestimated Trump and his resolve.

On Saturday, the president tweeted:

“There’s almost nobody in the W.H. but me… We will be out for a long time unless the Democrats come back from their ‘vacations’ and get back to work.”

There’s noise that Trump could force an end to the Democrats’ little game by declaring a national emergency and using the authority that gives him to fund the Mexico border wall with part of the Pentagon budget.

The Dems are screaming over such a possibility, insisting the president can’t just decide what is and isn’t an emergency. But, the truth is that they put us in this situation, and if it goes on any longer, there will be a genuine emergency.

Democrats can’t claim that they are serving the American people in this, because the American people elected Trump based on promises like that to build a border wall and get illegal immigration under control.
