Times Square Billboard Rips Biden Small Business Tax Increase


The Job Creators Network, a national small business advocacy group, erected a billboard in New York City criticizing a tax increase President Joe Biden is reportedly considering.

The billboard attacked Biden for considering eliminating an existing 20% small business tax deduction and increasing the tax rate for pass-through entities, a category which includes many U. S. small businesses, according to the Job Creators Network (JCN). The billboard said “WTF?!” and “HELL NO!” in reference to the potential tax hike.

“Small businesses are already at the end of their rope because of the pandemic-induced shutdowns,” JCN President Alfredo Ortiz said in a statement. “Hiking taxes on America’s entrepreneurs would be a bad policy at any time, but should be unthinkable now.”

“Strapping the small business community—which is typically responsible for two-thirds of all new job creation—with more tax liabilities will throttle economic opportunity further and weaken recovery prospects,” he continued.
