They’re Calling What the NFL Just Did a Complete Surrender. This is Bad, Very Bad…

By

The NFL National Anthem protest scandal just took a horrifying turn.

Last week, in an ill-guided move, league executives attempted to put an end to players kneeling during the National Anthem by pledging a whopping $90 million to various social justice causes chosen by the players.

Now, that’s already a ridiculous surrender to the ludicrous and childish behavior of the players. It’s like giving in to a child’s temper tantrum by giving them a lollipop.

But, unfortunately, that’s not the end of the bad news.

It turns out a lot of those social justice causes that will now be receiving NFL funding are connected to radical socialist George Soros.

Breitbart reports:

The NFL agreement with the players, which includes no requirement that the player protests end, will send cash to Soros-connected groups such as Dream Corps, Center for American Progress, and Campaign for Fair Sentencing.

According to the Washington Examiner, Dream Corps is “…a leftist advocacy group led by former Obama adviser Van Jones and linked to Mr. Soros, which has called for saving the Clean Power Plan, cutting the prison population by half and providing ‘sanctuary for all.’”

The Examiner also reports, “The $89 million, seven-year deal also carves out millions of dollars for the Players Coalition, according to ESPN, which has been advised by Soros-funded groups such as the Campaign for Fair Sentencing of Youth and the Center for American Progress, a leader of the anti-Trump ‘resistance.’”

Incredibly, the NFL just gave fans even MORE reason to continue boycotting the league.
