Someone’s Going to be Assassinated, Warns Rand Paul

By

Things have gotten bad. Really bad.

Americans have long had a healthy partisan relationship with one another. But, in more recent years, that’s given way to the kind of bitter division that breeds violence.

We saw this after Trump’s election, when radical liberal groups like Antifa took to the streets and began physically attacking anyone who supported the president.

And we saw it again during the confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, when liberal elements literally lost their minds, and some even threatened assassination.

According to Sen. Rand Paul, that’s a threat that we must not take lightly.

Paul told a Kentucky radio show:

“I fear that there’s going to be an assassination. I really worry that somebody is going to be killed, and that those who are ratcheting up the conversation … they have to realize they bear some responsibility if this elevates to violence.”

Civility has been all but abandoned in political discourse, and the way the mainstream media fuels the fire can only lead to violence and chaos.
