Shots Fired – Ted Cruz Goes After Jimmy Kimmel

It’s about to go down.

Whiney liberal television host Jimmy Kimmel and former Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz are just 24 hours away from taking the court against each other.

Following years of badmouthing (at least on Kimmel’s part), the two are set to compete in a one-on-one charity basketball game down in Texas.

Now, Kimmel’s taller than Cruz, but still expected to lose.

As the Daily Caller reported:

Las Vegas betting site Bovada put odds on Cruz at 5/11 with Kimmel at 8/5 odds, reported The Dallas Morning News.

While Cruz is 2 inches shorter, he’s also three years younger than 50-year-old Kimmel. And to top it off, Cruz was a varsity basketball player in high school, while Kimmel was a clarinet player in his high school’s marching band.

This is all in good fun, of course, but it’s going to be wonderful to watch Kimmel get his ass handed to him by a staunch conservative Republican.
