Serial Trump-Mocker Alec Baldwin Gets Hammered by Americans, Goes Into Hiding

By

Declining former Hollywood star Alec Baldwin has gone into a type of hiding after Americans finally had enough of his antics.

Baldwin’s movie career has effectively been over for years, but he seized the opportunity for a minor resurgence over the past year by repeatedly mocking President Trump on Saturday Night Live.

Given how much liberals love mocking Trump, that put Baldwin once again in the media spotlight, at least temporarily.

But that might’ve turned out to NOT be a good thing for the actor.

Baldwin’s always been a hot-head whose physical attacks on paparazzi and other members of the public approaching him on the street have landed him in hot water before.

Now, Baldwin’s finally gone too far as he wades into the sexual harassment scandal engulfing Hollywood by attacking the leader of the fed-up female actresses, Rose McGowan.

Via Dennis Michael Lynch:

Speaking to PBS on Friday, Baldwin said he had heard a a rumor about McGowan being raped by Weinstein.

“You heard the rumor that he raped Rose McGowan,” Baldwin said. “You heard that over and over. We have heard that for decades.”

“But what happened was that Rose McGowan took a payment of $100,000 and settled her case with him,” he continued.  “It was for Rose McGowan to prosecute that case.”

Further commenting about McGowan’s settlement, Baldwin asked, “Do the settlement of these cases hurt the cause of exposing and bringing us to a place of real change? “When women take money and are silenced by that money… does it set back the cause of change? “That’s an issue, I think.”

McGowan, her fans and just a lot of pissed off Americans began to hammer Baldwin on Twitter, accusing him of blaming women and not the rapist.

The backlash became so great that Baldwin has reportedly been compelled to shut down his Twitter account that he so loved using to bash Trump.
