Romney In Panic Mode After Republicans Launch Investigation In Burisma & His Connections Come To Light

By

After Trump became president, Romney begged him to be Secretary of State.  President Trump wisely passed.

Now the Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, Ron Johnson is preparing to issue the first subpoena to kickstart the Burisma Holdings corruption investigation.

Guess which other senator is on that committee… right, Mitt Romney.

(Daily Caller)  Utah Sen. Mitt Romney said Thursday that people are tired of politically motivated investigations such as Republican Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson’s probe into Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian gas company linked to Hunter Biden…

Johnson’s effort to issue the subpoena could be halted if Romney votes against the measure, CNN reported. Republicans hold eight seats on the committee to the six seats held by Democrats.

(The Federalist) … According to web archives, top Mitt Romney adviser Joseph Cofer Black, who publicly goes by “Cofer Black,” joined Burisma’s board of directors while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board.

According to The New Yorker, Hunter joined Burisma’s board in April of 2014 and remained on it until he declined to renew his position this past May. Meanwhile, according to Burisma’s website, Black was appointed in February of 2017 and continues to serve on its board. The timelines would indicate that Black and Biden worked together at Burisma, and indeed, web archives from late 2017 show Black and Biden listed simultaneously on the board…

It’s looking increasingly probable that Burisma, the subject of a series of corruption allegations in the past, has been smartly buying Western complacency by slapping a few famous names on its board.

Ukraine and Burisma had become a hotbed for money laundering and the purchase of political influence when Joe Biden was the pointman for then President Obama.  The depth of that corruption is not yet known but it needs to be publicly uncovered.
