The Republican Party is longer the party of appeasement.
For the first time in a long time, the Republicans are finally taking a stand against the Democrats and are not taking the blame for the looming government shutdown.
Mick Mulvaney tells the press, President Trump does not wish for a shutdown and it is up to the Chuck Schumer and democrats to stop it from happening. The Trump Administration has labeled the possible shutdown as the “Schumer Shutdown.”

This move by the democrats could cost them the 2018 elections. They are more concerned about 800,000 DACA recipients, than they are of our military and 9 million children under the CHIP program.
