There was much speculation after London’s Muslim mayor, Sadiq Khan, demanded that President Trump NOT be invited to the UK.
Khan was upset after Trump criticized his defeatist (or was it collaborative) response to the London Bridge terror attack that killed seven people and wounded nearly 50 more.
After fellow Muslims slaughtered all those innocent people, Khan stated that there was “no reason to be alarmed.”
Trump took straight to Twitter:
Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his "no reason to be alarmed" statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!

Khan was furious, and demanded that Trump’s invitation to the UK be rescinded.
But Queen Elizabeth wasn’t about to let Khan’s pettiness dictate UK foreign policy.
When asked about the situation at Tuesday’s press briefing, White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer confirmed that Queen Elizabeth’s personal invitation to Trump still stands.
“[The president] appreciates Her Majesty’s gracious invitation,” Spicer said.
