Putin Mocks Democrats Over Failed Russian Interference Probe

Russian President Vladimir Putin is not impressed.

Ever since Donald Trump’s election, Democrats have been howling over supposed Russian interference that denied Hillary Clinton the White House.

But, even after months of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probing, there’s still no solid evidence that there was anything approaching the kind of manipulation Democrats claim.

Let’s clarify one thing – there was Russian meddling in the election. But it was no different than what America does in elections around the world – attempting to influence the outcome to fit with US national interests.

Every country does it.

The kind of conspiracy that Democrats are suggesting? It just didn’t happen.

As such, Putin told Democrats to “stop yelling and hollering in the United States Congress.”

Putin said of Mueller’s charges that Russian nationals had impacted the election:

“I have to see first what they’ve done. Give us materials, give us information. We can not respond to that if they do not violate Russian laws.”

The mocking remarks were made in an interview with NBC’s Megyn Kelly.
