Appearing on Fox News with Sean Hannity, White House Press Secretary said that election board officials in Wisconsin are trying to change recount laws “as we speak.”
McEnany tweeted “HOURS after Team Trump filed the Wisconsin recount petition, the Wisconsin Election Commission met to vote on amending the recount manual to make it more difficult to have an accurate recount. Vote result coming soon!”
Reince Priebus also echoed McEnany’s concern, tweeting “Let’s get this straight. The Trump campaign sent the Wis Election Comm. $3 mill and filed its petition for a recount. Then the WEC immediately called a special meeting to change certain recount rules that deal with the issues brought up in the petition? You can’t make this up!”
