President Trump Posts Important Independence Day Video, Breaks The Internet In Mere Minutes

Yesterday, as our wonderful nation celebrated its 242nd birthday, President Donald Trump decided to send out a special Independence Day message via his Twitter account. He explained that he and First Lady Melania Trump were very honored to wish everyone in America a happy July 4th. He went on to mention two groups of important people who helped to make our country free. Those two groups are the military who put their lives on the line to protect us every single day and our Founding Fathers, the originators of the American Dream.

The President began by speaking about our Founding Fathers and all they did to create this amazing nation.

President Trump stated, “It was 242 years ago today in Philadelphia that 56 brave representatives of the American people adopted our Declaration of Independence. They announced to the world that America would be free, that America would be independent. They pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor. In so doing they forever changed the course of human history. General George Washington and his army of brave patriots fought a long, tough war with the British to win America’s freedom. Win they Did! From Bunker Hill to Saratoga to Yorktown, American soldiers died to secure our independence and to make a sovereign nation.”

He went on to speak about the courage that our country’s founders had, and how that courage lives on in the United States military and all those who serve our country.

“Today, as we celebrate the Fourth of July with friends and family, let us never forget our freedom has been earned through the blood and sweat and sacrifice of American heroes — and these were great American heroes. And let us share the grateful heart of our nation with every veteran and member of the United States Armed Forces. Truly special people. We are in awe of their courage and we are eternally in their debt. Together, we honor their noble sacrifice by pledging our love and loyalty to our country, our flag and our fellow citizens,” he went on.

Both President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump spent the day at his Virginia golf club. As we previously reported, Mrs. Trump paid a special visit to wounded military members staying at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center this past Tuesday.

Mrs. Trump also had a July 4th message for Americans. She stated yesterday, “May God bless this great nation & all the people who protect it!

God bless America!
