Police Asking for Help in Finding Missing Boy

By

The Union County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a North Carolina boy who went missing Tuesday afternoon. He was last seen around 4:40 p.m. walking away from his home toward a pool area but has not returned.

12-year-old Chancellor “Chance” Ashton Kelly lives in Indian Trail, on the southeast side of the Charlotte metropolitan area, according to the Union County Sheriff’s Office. He also failed to show up for class Wednesday morning at Sun Valley Middle School.

Chance is a black male but has fairly light skin, according to WSOC TV. He’s 4 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 80 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, khaki pants, and black Nike Air Jordan shoes.

Officials are asking everyone to keep an eye out for Chance and to report any possible information on his whereabouts to 911.

Please pray for Chance’s safe return! Also, please keep an eye out for 5-year-old Lucas Hernandez, who went missing earlier this month from his home in Wichita, Kansas. There have been some disturbing updates in that case.

At the end of January, another boy went missing in North Carolina. The 4-year-old boy was later found dead in a nearby pond. Please continue to pray for his family as they deal with their loss.
