Philly Cops Panic After Super Bowl: ‘Please Send SWAT Teams’

By

It was a historic night for one of America’s most historic cities.

The Philadelphia Eagles had won their first ever Super Bowl.

Sadly, the “City of Brotherly Love” celebrated as it typically does – by rioting.

A compilation of just some of the calls that came over police scanners revealed the living hell that cops were dealing with on Sunday night.

Via the New York Post:

“I need to get the fire extinguisher out of my trunk. I got a fire on Broad Street just south of South. Someone lit a Christmas tree on fire.”

“They’re trying to tear multiple light posts down and I don’t have anyone to counteract it right now.”

“A man jumped off the light pole and landed on his head.”

“At Broad and Market they’re throwing bottles at the cops. Please send SWAT teams over there in case we need them.”

“It’s endless, chief. Endless.”
