Patrick Mahomes’ Reaction to Super Bowl Win Has Americans Raising Their Eyebrows

By

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes won not only the Super Bowl this week, he was also named most valuable player in America’s biggest annual sporting event.

That’s the kind of platform every athlete dreams of.

Over the past several years, many NFL players have been using such a platform to disparage our great nation by publicly kneeling during the National Anthem.

But when it was Mahomes turn, he chose to do something very different.

Just days before the big game, Mahomes said:

“Faith has always been big with me. Obviously I want to win every game, but I’m glorifying God every single time I’m out there. As long as I’m doing everything the right way and the way that He would want me to do it, then I can walk off the field with my head held high and be able to be the man that I am.”

After the victory, Mahomes was again talking up his faith post-game interviews.

While liberals LOVED that players like Colin Kapaernick used their platform to diss America, they often howl and wail when players instead talk about God and righteous living.
