Omar Uses ‘Woman of Color’ Card On Venezuela, Gets Torched By Women of Color

By

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar used the women of color routine, playing two victims cards at the same time, to attack the United States involvement in Venezuela.

As the Venezuelan people starve the Minnesota representative found a way to blame the United States for it and she got torched.

She said, in an interview with “Democracy Now, that it was the polices of the United Sates that “kind of helped lead” to “the devastation in Venezuela.”

“This particular bullying and the use of sanctions to eventually intervene and make regime change really does not help the people of countries like Venezuela, and it certainly does not help and is not in the interest of the United States,” she said.

She showed support for Nicolas Maduro in January when she said “We cannot hand pick leaders for other countries on behalf of multinational corporate interests.

“The legislature cannot seize power from the President, and Venezuela’s Supreme Court has declared their actions unconstitutional.

“We can’t afford to get involved in costly interventions abroad when tens of millions struggle to access housing, healthcare, and clean water right here at home.

“U.S. meddling abroad always ends badly for us, and the people we claim to be ‘liberating.’

“If we really want to support the Venezuelan people, we can lift the economic sanctions that are inflicting suffering on innocent families, making it harder for them to access food and medicines, and deepening the economic crisis. We should support dialogue, not a coup!” she said.

“As Venezuelans take to the streets to stand for their freedom against an oppressive dictator, Democrat Congresswoman @IlhanMN chooses socialism over freedom. The Trump Administration stands with the freedom-loving people of Venezuela,” Vice President Mike Pence said.
