The whole world seemed deeply affected by this week’s burning of the iconic Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.
We know that because the flood of photos of people’s visits to the landmark that were posted to social media as a memorial.
Former President Barack Obama also took to social media to commemorate this terrible event.
But, being the tireless self-promoter that he is, Obama didn’t post a picture of Notre Dame, but rather of himself!

Yes, that appears to be a shot of the Obamas inside Notre Dame, but they are clearly the focus, not the cathedral.
This has been a trend with Obama, always making sure he was at the center of photo ops that should have been highlighting others.
