Obama probably thought he could get away with betraying Israel just before leaving the White House. Oh boy, was he wrong.
He’s already suffered a number of consequences while still in office. And the suffering is going to follow him into “retirement.”
As we all know by now, Obama loves him some golf. He spent plenty of our tax dollars playing at the swankiest clubs over the past eight years.
And he was probably counting on spending plenty of the money he charges for speaking engagements in the years to come doing the same.
But there’s one club he won’t be playing at, all thanks to his disgraceful treatment of Israel.
One of Obama’s top priorities after becoming a private citizen was to join the Woodmont Country Club in Maryland.
Typically, it would be a great honor for a club of any caliber to have a former president among its active members.
Unfortunately for Obama, most of Woodmont’s members are Jewish, and most of them are opposed to admitting the outgoing president. Because former president or not, they aren’t interested in having a traitor in their midst.
“In light of the votes at the UN and the Kerry speech and everything else, there’s this major uproar with having him part of the club, and a significant portion of the club has opposed offering him membership,” a source at the club told The New York Post.
Woodmont is considered one of the more exclusive and high-end golf clubs in the entire country.

And it just tickles us to think that Obama’s not going to get to play there as punishment for his reckless and, frankly, dangerous behavior.
