Nadler Says Impeachment Of President Trump Has Started

New York Rep. Jerry Nadler is obsessed with the idea of impeaching President Donald Trump and he has made no secret about it.

The only person that has stopped him from naming it an impeachment proceeding is House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi.

The House Speaker knows that there is no desire from the people for impeachment, other than the extremists in the Democrat Party.

And impeaching the president at this time, with insufficient evidence of any crime, is going to reek of bias and harassment.

The Democrats have decided they wanted to impeach from Election Day 2016 and have been looking for a crime to pin it on ever since.

But now Rep. Nadler, the head of the House Judiciary Committee, is saying that the Democrats are in the process of an impeachment.

“Well, I think it’s important not to get hung up on semantics,” he said, speaking to CNN anchor Erin Burnett on Thursday.

“The fact is, we are an investigation. We are investigating the facts, investigating the evidence,” he said as he played semantics.

“We are going into court to get witnesses. All with a view toward deciding and recommending whether to impeach the president,” he said.

He said that Speaker Rep. Pelosi “is cooperating with the committee’s investigation,” but then, frustrated by Burnett’s questions, he said the truth.

“This is formal impeachment proceedings,” he told the CNN host. “We are investigating all the evidence.”

“We are gathering the evidence and we will reach conclusion of this, hopefully by the end of the year, vote to, vote articles of impeachment to the House floor or we won’t.

“That’s a decision that we’ll have to make. But that — that’s exactly the process we’re in right now,” he said.

“So when you say it’s formal impeachment proceedings have you drafted or started preparing articles of impeachment should you need them?” the host said.

“There are articles of impeachment introduced a number of months ago and referred to the committee,” he said.

“As the investigation proceeds, we may want to draft our own articles of impeachment that may more closely fit the evidence. We’ll see,” he said.
