Meghan McCain Dismantles Joy Behar in Most Tense Episode of ‘The View’ in Years

“The View” thrives on radical political views spewed by Hollywood has-been windbags, as token conservatives are invited to “discuss” the issues.

So, in other words, it’s meant to be a show full of tension.

But this week’s showdown between co-hosts Joy Behar and Meghan McCain was one of the more tense we’ve seen in a long time.

Naturally, Behar was keen to exploit the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting to push her anti-gun agenda, but McCain was having none of it.

And she totally dismantled the shrill liberal:

Behar was so out of sorts that she couldn’t even look at McCain, which McCain helpfully pointed out.

Right before reminding her absent-minded opponent that the very assault rifle ban she so vigorously demands has already been in place for years, and that it’s the hate being spread by Democrat demagogues that has far more to do with violent crime than the guns being bought by law-abiding citizens.
