Liberals Are LIVID After Texas Schools Bring Back Time-Honored Disciplinary Practice

By

Liberal hypocrisy is again on display. On the one hand, they claim that it “takes a village” to raise children. On the other, try to discipline their children, and liberals will scream bloody murder.

That’s because in reality liberals couldn’t give a damn what the “village” thinks about their children “expressing themselves” (i.e. misbehaving).

Well, in at least one Texas school district, folks are going to have to get used to non-family authority figures holding their children accountable.

The Corpus Christi Caller-Times reports:

Three Rivers ISD administrators are going shopping for a paddle.

As part of a new policy approved by the board Tuesday, the paddle, likely to be wood, will be used to administer corporal punishment when a student misbehaves at school.

Corporal punishment is defined as the deliberate infliction of physical pain by hitting, paddling, spanking, slapping, or any other physical force used as a means of discipline.

Our liberal society today looks at corporal punishment as cruel and unnecessary.

But folks of my generation will remember that we were spanked, and spanked often for misbehaving at school. And, correct me if I’m wrong, but we had MUCH LESS of a problem with things like school violence.

Coincidence?
