Liberal Professor CANNED After Saying Texas Deserves Hurricane Harvey For Voting Trump

Liberal university professors never seem to miss an opportunity to be as inappropriate as possible in spreading their hateful worldview.

Apparently, they think their academic status gives them license to say just about anything. Well, one professor just learned that hard way that that’s not true.

Outrageously, though not surprisingly, at least one liberal university professor said that the hurricane-battered residents of Texas were getting exactly what they deserved for voting Trump into the White House.

Kenneth L. Storey, a professor at the University of Tampa, tweeted the following:

“I don’t believe in instant Karma, but this kinda feels like it for Texas. Hopefully this will help them realize the GOP doesn’t care about them.”

Quickly realizing the firestorm he had unleashed, and the trouble it could mean for him, Storey deleted the tweet and issued an phony apology.

But it was already too late.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that Storey was promptly fired. University spokesman Eric Cardenas told the paper:

“We condemn the comments and the sentiment behind them, and understand the pain this irresponsible act has caused. As Floridians, we are well aware of the destruction and suffering associated with tropical weather.”

The university’s official Facebook page further slammed Storey:

“The University of Tampa stands in solidarity with the people impacted by Hurricane Harvey, and our thoughts and prayers are with all involved. The comments made by Kenneth Storey were made via his private social media account. They were not made within his capacity as a faculty member, and they don’t represent the University’s views. The University of Tampa condemns these comments and the sentiment behind them.”
