Latest Revelation About Manhattan Terrorist Changes Everything. We Have Some Serious Changes to Make

By

Tuesday’s horrendous terrorist attack in Manhattan epitomizes everything that was wrong with both our immigration and counterterrorism policies over the past decade.

By now we all know that the terrorist, Sayfullo Saipov, managed to infiltrate our country under the lax vetting policies of the Obama Administration.

Just revealed is that the Department of Homeland Security suspected him of being a possible terrorist as early as 2015!

This madman could have been stopped over two years ago, long before he had the chance to harm innocent people.

But our society’s politically-correct fear of the bogeyman of “racial profiling” (a practice used in nearly every other country as a matter of routine) prevented that.

And so, Saipov was free to live unencumbered while he was slowly, but surely radicalized to the point of taking human life.

He was then given even more time to plan out and execute his attack.

And eight people are no longer with us because we had tied our own hands behind our back.

Via the New York Post:

The driver who allegedly killed eight people in the Manhattan terror attack was interviewed by feds in 2015 — but officials didn’t have enough information on him to open a case, according to a new report.

Authorities with the Department of Homeland Security Investigations Unit had probed Sayfullo Saipov about his possible ties to suspected terrorists, ABC News reported Wednesday.

Saipov’s name and address were listed as a “point of contact” for two men whose names were on the Counterterrorism and Criminal Exploitation Unit’s list after they arrived in the US from “threat countries,” a federal source told ABC.
