Just In: They Are Blaming Congress

Congressional Democrats have a lot to answer for.

And now they must answer not only to the American people, but to our Israeli allies, as well.

For decades, support of Israel was touted as a bipartisan matter. Neither Republicans nor Democrats could claim to be better friends to the Jewish state than the other.

But ever since the Obama Administration, that has been changing.

And now, it appears the Democrats have openly aligned themselves with anti-Israel elements.

First, we have Rep. Ilhan Omar and Rep. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez openly attacking Israel and backing calls for a boycott of the Jewish state.

Now, House Democrats took the extraordinary step of inviting a Muslim imam to say an opening prayer, knowingly perfectly well that this particular cleric, Omar Suleiman, is an outspoken Israel-hater.

The move shocked Israelis last week, and nearly ever major Israeli publication reported on what many saw as betrayal by the Democrats.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that Israelis who are tuned in to their relations with the United States are beginning to question if support for their nation is still a bipartisan issue.

Many already know that the answer is ‘No.’
