ISIS terrorists operating out of the Sinai Peninsula fired a number of missiles at the southern Israel resort town of Eilat on Wednesday night.
Not a single one of the missiles managed to land on the town.
Israel’s vaunted Iron Dome anti-missile system successfully intercepted three of the missiles that were on target to hit Eliat. It let a fourth fall in an uninhabited area.
Iron Dome very rapidly calculates the trajectory of incoming missiles and does not waste an expensive interceptor unless the threat will hit inhabited areas.
Projectiles from #Gaza, #Syria and now #Egypt have hit #Israel since Monday.

ISIS terrorists later claimed responsibility for the failed attack, according to Hamas-controlled media in the Gaza Strip.
ISIS has threatened to invest more of its resources in attacking Israel.
