Hypocrite Matt Lauer Breaks His Silence After Embarrassing Dismissal From NBC for Sexual Misconduct

The justice simply couldn’t be more poetic.

For over a year now, liberals from Washington to Hollywood to the mainstream media have been harping on and on about how President Trump is such a misogynist based on a single locker room joke he told decades ago.

While Trump might not be a role model when it comes to how a man should treat women, it turns out that his sins PALE IN COMPARISON to those of his liberal detractors.

From Harvey Weinstein to Bill Clinton to Al Franken to oh so many others, we are dealing with professional hypocrites here.

And the latest to feel the sting of reality is Matt Lauer, who was axed from his NBC news anchor job this week after several women came forward to expose his inappropriate sexual behavior, some of which took place as recently as a couple years ago.

And, yes, Lauer was among those liberal mainstream media figures who so mercilessly slandered Trump as an abuser of women.

Now, forgetting just how badly he treated the president, Lauer is asking America to forgive and take it easy on him.

In a statement read by his former NBC co-hosts, Lauer said:

“There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions. To the people I have hurt I am truly sorry.

“As I am writing this I realize the depth of the damage and disappointment I have left behind at home and at NBC. Some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed. I regret that my shame is now shared by the people I cherish dearly.”
