He’s Baaaaack. And He’s Going to Jail

By

Still think we don’t need a border wall and tighter immigration policies?

Then check this out.

In 2017, William Umberto Martinez was deported after serving 15 years in prison for the 2000 murder of another man in Huntington, Long Island.

The reason for the deportation in addition to the jail term was that Martinez was, and might still be, a member of the MS-13 gang. So, he was sent back to where MS-13 began, his birth country of El Salvador.

But on Tuesday, authorities found Martinez back in Long Island!

After matching his fingerprints to those taken after his arrest in 2000, Martinez was arrested and could be facing 20 years in prison for violating the terms of his previous sentence.

The real question here is how did a convicted murderer with known ties to the most dangerous street gang around manage to get back into the country?

This wasn’t just some random MS-13 member. Martinez was already in the system and known to authorities.

Something isn’t right here.
