GOP Senator Physician Calling For Annual Senility Tests For All Aging Politicians


As Joe Biden continues to demonstrate is glaring issues memory loss and focus, a GOP senator wants annual senility tests for all aging politicians.

Republican Sen. and physician Bill Cassidy (R-LA) told Axios in a recent interview is calling for mental cognitive testing for all aging leaders across all three branches of government.

Cassidy, a gastroenterologist, Axios that you begin a “rapid decline” in mental acuity beginning in your 80s.

Stating he was not pointing out individuals, Cassidy commented the decline is “usually noticeable. So anybody in a position of responsibility who may potentially be on that slope, that is of concern. And I’m saying this as a doctor.”

“I’m told that there have been senators in the past who, at the end of their Senate terms were senile,” Cassidy added. “I’m told that was true of senators of both parties.”

Keep in mind that the majority of the highest ranking leaders in the United States fall into this category, Biden is 78 years old, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is 81, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is 70, and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is 79.

Cassidy said the cognitive assessment should be performed on all leaders including members of Congress, executive branch leaders, Supreme Court justices, and the President to their mental ability to effectively make decisions and lead our nation.
