When Garth Brooks turned down an invitation to perform at Friday’s inauguration, liberals went wild, insisting that yet another A-lister had decided to boycott Trump.
But Brooks has now set the record straight, and did something for Trump that’s perhaps even more meaningful than performing at the inauguration.
In a Facebook Live video, Brooks explained that the only reason he is not performing at the inauguration is scheduling conflicts with his concert tour.
What Brooks did instead was urge all his millions of fans to get behind and pray for Trump as he takes the reins of our great nation.
“We can’t thank the Obamas enough for serving this country,” he said. “And may God hold Trump’s hand in the decisions that he makes in this country’s name as well.”
