FBI Makes Shock Announcement – Truth About Tarmac Meeting Finally Out

The Daily Caller reported that lawyers representing the FBI revealed the existence of the records in response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit filed by conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch.

Last October, the FBI told Judicial Watch that the bureau did not have any records related to the meeting between Clinton and Lynch. This encounter took place while the Justice Department was investigating Hillary Clinton’s potential mishandling of classified information on her private email account.

The FBI initially said that it had no documents relating to this meeting.

Upon further review, we subsequently determined potentially responsive documents may exist,” FBI attorneys said in a statement.

It is not clear at this time what exactly is in these documents.

The FBI is out of control,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “It is stunning that the FBI ‘found’ these Clinton-Lynch tarmac records only after we caught the agency hiding them in another lawsuit. Judicial Watch will continue to press for answers about the FBI’s document games in court.

In the meantime, the FBI should stop the stonewall and release these new records immediately.
