The Democrats went too far this time.
The most touching moment during President Trump’s State of the Union was his honoring of two sets of parents whose teenage daughters were brutally murdered by illegal immigrant gang members in 2016.
One of the fathers, Freddy Cuevas, even started crying, which broke the heart of nearly every American watching.
Every American except for the despicable Democratic representatives who were right there in the same room.
So determined were they to “boycott” Trump’s speech, these public servants sat on their hands while the rest of the room was on their feet to honor these grieving souls.
Fox News asked two of the parents, Robert Mickens and Elizabeth Alvarado, parents of murdered teen Nisa Mickens, what they thought of such behavior.
Father of teen slain by MS-13 Robert Mickens on Democrats not standing during #SOTU: "Regardless of how they feel about the president, they should show the respect, because I would show them the respect if that was their loved one." https://t.co/vU8vKwpabH @IngrahamAngle pic.twitter.com/ABRUhj2L3p

Said Mickens:

“I thought it was very disrespectful. For the simple fact that the Democrats who were there and did not stand up, they were African-Americans. So that hurt me a lot… Regardless of how they feel about the president, they should show the respect, because I would show them the respect if that was their loved one.”
Well said, sir. Well said.
