Despite strong initial sales of his new “tell-all” book about the Trump White House, it seems author Michael Wolff might have some explaining to do.
Before a judge, that is, if all the claims of blatant slander are true.
And it’s not just Trump and his people who are accusing Wolff of lying.
Even the most liberal corners of the mainstream media are turning on Wolff and slamming his book “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” as little more than a work of fiction.
Many liberals were no doubt shocked when CNN’s Jake Tapper, most certainly no fan of the president, attacked Wolff over his portrayal of Donald Trump Jr. questioning his father’s mental health:
My impression is not only would Eric and Don Jr never say such a thing to anyone, they would never think such a thing. Ever.

Tapper wasn’t the only Trump-critic to hold Wolff accountable for his lies.
Well-known Trump-hater Maggie Haberman of The New York Times said that Wolff “gets basic details wrong,” and “Never Trump” conservative John Podhoretz called the book “blithe ignorance.”
