Country BANS Production And Sale Of Muslim Burqas… This Happened NEXT!

The country of Morocco made a shocking announcement this week when they banned the production and sale of burqa full-face Muslim veils, citing security reasons

Daily Mail reported that the ban, which is expected to go into effect this week, is being enforced because felons have been using the garment to help carry out their crimes.

“We have taken the step of completely banning the import, manufacture and marketing of this garment in all the cities and towns of the kingdom,” a high-ranking interior ministry official said, according to the Le360 news site.

The source added that “bandits have repeatedly used this garment to perpetrate their crimes.”

Officials in the city of Taroudan in southern Morocco ordered traders to stop making and selling burqas and to liquidate their stock within 48 hours. Similar instructions were given to retailers in the northern town of Ouislane.

Hammad Kabbaj, a preacher who was barred from standing in parliamentary elections in October over his alleged ties to “extremism,” slammed the ban as “unacceptable. He took to Facebook to mock the “Morocco of freedom and human rights” which “considers the wearing of the Western swimsuit on the beaches an untouchable right.”

In contrast, lawmaker Nouzha Skalli praised the ban as “an important step in the fight against religious extremism.”
