As many as five people were shot during a baseball practice in Washington, DC on Wednesday.
Among the wounded is House Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise, who is said to have suffered a bullet to the hip.
At least two of Scalise’s staff members were also shot, one reportedly in the chest or abdomen.

The attack occurred as GOP members were practicing for an upcoming bipartisan baseball game.
The shootout lasted about 10 minutes. Capitol Police shot and subdued the assailant.
