BREAKING: Obama Masses Troops Near Russian Border

By

Just days before leaving office, President Barack Obama has ordered a major deployment of US forces not far from the Russian border.

Given the timing, many are viewing this as an effort to trip up President-elect Donald Trump’s foreign policy, which aims to rejuvenate US-Russia relations.

Ironically, the deployment now taking place was set in motion years ago because of the Obama Administration’s far more reckless attempt to “reset” relations with Moscow.

As part of that failed effort (Russia, like most other countries, sees Obama as a joke), then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton told US ally Poland that it would not be getting a new missile-defense system.

As compensation, Obama promised to make a significant deployment of troops to Poland, putting them right on the border of Russian ally Belarus, and not far from Russia itself.

And now, with less than a week left in office, he’s finally following through.

Over 3,000 heavily-armed US troops have arrived in Poland.

“This is the fulfillment of a dream,” said Michal Baranowski, director of the German Marshall Fund think tank in Warsaw. “And this is not just a symbolic presence but one with a real capability.”

Ever heard the expression “cutting off the nose to spite the face”? Well, that’s precisely what Obama is doing by apparently trying to provoke a war with Russia while he still can.
