Breaking News Out Of Trump’s White House Has The Deep State Terrified … They’re Finished! Hell Yeah!

The usually reliable website The Intercept is reporting that President Trump and CIA Director Mike Pompeo are weighing their options regarding the development of a private spy network that would report directly to the president as a means of countering his Deep State enemies inside the intelligence community that filter and alter the intelligence he sees as they continue attempting to undermine his presidency.

His opponents claim that the creation of such an intelligence apparatus would only serve to justify the Trump administration’s political agenda.

Perhaps, but at least it would be the agenda of the duly elected president and not that of deeply embedded bureaucrats who answer only to God knows whom?

If the people aren’t happy with the president they can neuter his agenda in next year’s mid-term elections and remove him in 3 more years.  What recourse do they have against these career bureaucrats?

The authors of the report, Mathew Cole and Jeremy Scahill, quote an unnamed senior intelligence official with firsthand knowledge of the proposals being considered by the president as saying:

“Pompeo can’t trust the CIA bureaucracy, so we need to create this thing that reports just directly to him.  It is a direct-action arm and totally off the books, meaning the intelligence collected would not be shared with the rest of the CIA or the larger intelligence community. The whole point is this is supposed to report to the president and Pompeo directly.”

According to sources that Cole and Scahill conferred with “The proposals would utilize an army of spies with no official cover in several countries deemed “denied areas” for current American intelligence personnel, including North Korea and Iran.

The White House has also considered creating a new global rendition unit meant to capture terrorist suspects around the world, as well as a propaganda campaign in the Middle East and Europe to combat Islamic extremism and Iran.”

The denials are running rampant throughout the intelligence community but a current U.S. intelligence official appeared to contradict those denials, stating that the various proposals were first pitched at the White House before being delivered to the CIA.

Whether this story is true, and if true whether such a plan is ever enacted it stands an indictment of those career bureaucrats who somehow believe they can ignore the results of elections and continue to run the government according to their own compass.
