Breaking: Maxine Waters Claims Trump Got Into People’s Heads to Believe ‘No Collusion’

According to Congresswoman Maxine Waters, President Trump reportedly got into people’s heads and indoctrinated them into believing there was no collusion.

The fallout from the breathlessly awaited final report by Robert Mueller has included a whole lot of celebration by Team Trump and Republicans and a whole lot of “Collusion Denial” from the Democrats and their allies in the media. Among those refusing to let go of the collusion believingnarrative is one of the leaders of the “Impeach Trump” crusade, Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters, who insists the report is “not the end of anything” and suggested that Trump had effectively brainwashed people into thinking there was no collusion.

In an appearance on MSNBC with Joy Reid over the weekend, Waters declared that — despite the thousands of subpoenas and hundreds of search warrants issued by Mueller only to find no evidence of any collusion by any member of the Trump campaign — the report doesn’t put to rest “anything” about Trump-Russia collusion.

“You have Donald Trump supporters, including his former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, out there tweeting and essentially presuming that the president has been exonerated,” said Reid, a presumption that Attorney General Bill Barr’s summary of the report confirmed on Sunday.

Reid showed a tweet from Haley posted Friday after multiple reports revealed that Justice Department sources said Mueller found no collusion and was issuing no further indictments. “After this long investigation both sides agreed to let Mueller do his job & complete the investigation,” wrote Haley. “Everyone has to acknowledge that @realDonaldTrump did not interfere in the investigation. Now the American public needs to accept the results and move on. #EnoughAlready”

“It’s a curious position to take since we don’t know what’s in the report,” said Reid. “But do you see colleagues on the other side of the aisle sort of declaring this whole thing at an end and wanting no further inquiry? I know that the House has something like 80 subpoenas still out.”

Waters responded by citing Trump’s ability to “get into people’s heads and indoctrinate” them.

“Absolutely. Well, I wanted to tell you that this president has a way of trying to get into people’s heads and indoctrinate them,” said Waters. “He’s been saying ‘No collusion, no collusion, no collusion,’ over and over again for a long time now and he’s going to try to conclude that this report is proving that there’s no collusion. And you have a lot of his sycophants who will, you know, take the nod from him and they’ll say the same thing.”

Wow! Did she really just go there? What are your thoughts? Please share and comment.
