Breaking! Georgia’s Lt. Governor will block Delta for alienating Bill of Rights supporters

By

Delta’s decision to end NRA member discounts will cost the company approximately $40 million worth of tax breaks.

The state House of Representatives recently approved a tax break on jet fuel that could save Delta $40 million, but the state senate – which has yet to act on the bill – vowed to fight it if the airline does not relent.

The bill, HB 918, has already passed the Georgia State House and has moved on to the state senate.

Georgia’s Lt. Governor Casey Cagle says he will “kill any tax legislation that benefits Delta unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with NRA”:

“Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back,” Cagle said.

I will kill any tax legislation that benefits @Delta unless the company changes its position and fully reinstates its relationship with @NRA. Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back.
