BREAKING: Georgia State Senator Arrested Over Ballot Count Dispute!

Georgia State Senator Nikema Williams (D) has been arrested for refusing to disperse over protest of ballot counts.

Williams, along with 18 others, were ordered to disperse by the Capitol Police in Georgia, but were ziptied and arrested after they refused to listen.

“I did not disperse,” she said of the arrest.

“I did not leave the floor when they said everyone must disperse,” she added.

Williams said she was arrested “because I refused to leave the floor of this building where I’m a state senator.” She said she was “standing peacefully beside constituents I represent.”

Multiple Senators went to the Fulton County Jail to assist Williams and 18 others that were arrested out of jail.
