Doctors at MedStar Washington Hospital Center have issued a critical update regarding Rep. Steve Scalise.
For those somehow not in the know, Scalise was critically injured when a deranged Democratic terrorist opened fire on congressional Republicans during a baseball practice earlier this month.
While his gunshot wound to the hip initially didn’t sound life-threatening, doctors later clarified that they had to fight to save Scalise’s life.
The bullet had torn through arteries and organs in Scalise’s lower abdomen, resulting in massive bleeding.
For weeks, he was in Intensive Care. Thankfully, that is no longer the case.
BREAKING: @SteveScalise is out of the Intensive Care Unit at @MedStarWHC, according to source familiar with his recovery.

Of course, that’s not the end of the ordeal for Scalise.
Doctors stated that the congressman will now begin “an extended period of healing and rehabilitation.”
