BREAKING: China Just Blocked President Trump

President Trump is no doubt sitting in the White House fuming today over the latest declaration from China that could effectively block his policies with regards to North Korea.

Over the past several days, Trump has upped his rhetoric painting North Korea as a dangerous regime that must be stopped before it can truly field its nuclear arsenal.

That last few straws were a ballistic missile test over northern Japan that sent Japanese civilians scrambling for bomb shelters, and a hydrogen bomb test that demonstrated that North Korea is very close indeed on being able to fulfill its threat of destroying American cities.

Secretary of Defense Gen. James “Mad Dog” Mattis responded by stating that America was prepared to use “massive military” force to stop North Korea, and when a reporter asked Trump is war was near, the president’s frightening reply was, “We’ll see.”

Shortly after, US Ambassador Nikki Haley told the United Nations that North Korea clearly wants war, while Washington remains dedicated to finding a diplomatic solution, at least for the time being.

But, Trump himself is clearly ready for war, too, if necessary.

Though China seems decided on preventing American from exercising a military option to the North Korea crisis.

Chinese Ambassador Liu Jieyi fully muddied the water by stating:

“The situation on the peninsula is deteriorating constantly as we speak falling into a vicious circle. The peninsula issue must be resolved peacefully. China will never allow chaos and war on the peninsula.

“The parties concerned must strengthen their sense of urgency, take due responsibilities, play their due roles, take practical measures, make joint efforts together to ease the situation, restart the dialogue and talks, and prevent further deterioration of the situation on the peninsula.”

Whether or not Trump will allow China to stop him from doing what needs to be done is still not certain.

What is clear is that that the situation is far more complex today than it was yesterday. And still, North Korea must not be allowed to actually field nuclear weapons.

If China makes moves that would permit such an outcome, should Trump defy Beijing and risk open war with the Chinese?
