BREAKING: Americans Evacuated From Cuba Following Series of Mysterious Attacks

A lot of people warned when Barack Obama reestablished diplomatic relations with Cuba that the move was wildly premature.

Cuba’s cruel dictatorship was still very much in power, was still oppressing its people, and was still very much in bed with America’s enemies.

As such, it doesn’t come as a great surprise that the American diplomats sent there soon came under attack.

State Department staff stationed at the US Embassy in Cuba were recently hit by sonic weapons that caused hearing loss, and, in at least one case, permanent physical damage.

The silent “acoustic attacks” took place sometime in 2016, and not all in the same location.

All of the embassy employees involved experienced hearing loss and concussions. One had to be flown back to the US for emergency medical treatment.

Officially, both US and Cuban officials are saying they still don’t know the source of the attacks.

But Secretary of State Rex Tillerson isn’t taking any chances.

Tillerson issued a statement reading:

On September 29, the Department ordered the departure of non-emergency personnel assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Havana, as well as all family members.

Until the Government of Cuba can ensure the safety of our diplomats in Cuba, our Embassy will be reduced to emergency personnel in order to minimize the number of diplomats at risk of exposure to harm.

All American citizens have been cautioned to avoid traveling to Cuba until the mysterious attacks can be thoroughly investigated and the perpetrators apprehended.
