Boy, 7, Left Convulsing And Brain Damaged After Stranger Threw Him To The Ground


A little boy was left convulsing on the street with brain damage after a stranger picked him up and hurled him to the ground. Gavin Ludwick also suffered a fractured skull after landing on his head in the wake of the attack in Desert Hot Springs, California, earlier this week.

The youngster was found suffering seizures by a passer-by, and rushed to intensive care. Gavin’s mother Wendy says his health is slowly beginning to improve.

Daniel Poulsen, 32, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in the wake of the horrific attack. He is not believed to have known his victim, with police investigating the crime as a completely random attack.

Gavin’s mom said he was able to sit himself up in bed for the first time on Thursday, and that he opened one of his eyes. He said his first words since the attack on Friday. She said ‘He is progressing so well.’ Gavin has been moved to a ward for less seriously… (Read more)
