Bernie Sanders Unveils Secret Weapon to Help Him Beat Trump in 2020

It’s shaping up to be a presidential election like no other.

Yes, the 2016 election was unprecedented in so many ways. But 2020 could take things to a whole new level.

In the run-up to 2016, no one really expected Trump to be the Republican nominee, so his campaigning was that of a long-shot candidate.

Next time around, he’ll be the incumbent, and it will be interesting to see how that influences the campaign’s rhetoric.

Already, many expect Trump to be facing Bernie Sanders in the election. Bernie’s supporters felt they were cheated in 2016 by a corruption Clinton campaign, and that he was the only Democratic candidate that truly had a shot at beating Trump.

Come 2020, Bernie’s looking to up his chances by joining forces with rising Democratic star Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The Washington Post reports:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will make campaign swing through Kansas next week, rallying for two congressional candidates who argue that left-wing politics are the key to winning in red states.

Sanders, who first talked to Ocasio-Cortez the day after she won her upset primary victory in New York, said that the tour came about after both realized they wanted to head to Kansas.

Ocasio-Cortez’s win, which came in a deep-blue New York district, has been galvanizing for left-wing candidates in red and purple states.

Bernie already appeals to the crazier brand of liberals in the Democratic party, and Ocasio-Cortez will likely help him gain the support of even more millennials.

Whether or not that’ll be enough to beat Trump remains to be seen.

But one thing is for certain, with Trump’s penchant for unfiltered rhetoric and Bernie’s demented demeanor, it’ll be an election campaign no one will want to miss.
